Mr. Candelario Pena Resident of Ropesville

Candelario Martinez Pena, 73, of Ropesville, TX, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on January 1, 2021. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, from 5pm to 8pm, at Grace Funeral Care Chapel in Brownfield, with the reciting of the Holy Rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 10am at Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Brownfield, TX, with interment to follow at Ropesville Cemetery. Services are entrusted to the compassionate professionals of Grace Funeral Care. Pallbearers are Jeremy Lucio, Justin Luna, Jordon Luna, Jaylon Luna, Candelario Pena III, Jacob Gomez, Ryan Casarez, Joseph Pena, and Joanne Pena. Candelario was born on June 20, 1947, to Candelario and Ramona Pena. Candelario is preceded in death by his parents Candelario Martinez Pena Sr. and Romona Pena; four brothers and one sister, Seferino Pena, Victor Pena, Lenard Pena, Henry Pena, and Connie Sanchez. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Dora Castro Pena of Ropesville TX, 10 children 4 sons and 6 daughters, Johnny Aguilar, Tammy Filby, Terry Sepeda, Olga Sepeda, Candelario Pena Jr, Romona Pena, Joanna Pena, Louis Pena, Jessica Pena, and Danny Pena. And 2 sisters; Suzie Pena and Lisa Pena. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

So many memories i will hold close to my heart there is one i would like to share . him and my mom came over to help me with whatever i needed help with instead i did what he like to do when he had some time off watch a good cowboy movie eat popcorn and drink his favorite koolaid , me my mom and my dad this one i hold very close , he was a little upset with himself it was time for Bingo he didn't help to wash my dishes and i was ok with it i enjoyed the movie and the two that accompanied to it .Love you daddy
