Mr. Larry Mabry of Lubbock

Larry Wayne Mabry, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on July 17, 2020.  A small private memorial service is scheduled for July 27. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grace Funeral and Cremation Care, Brownfield/Lubbock, TX. Larry was born May 27, 1944 in Frederick, OK to Walter and Maurine Mabry.  He graduated from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM in 1962.  Larry was a long-term resident of Lubbock. He has worked as a farmer, drove for Fleming Foods and CitiBus and worked for Lubbock County Sherriff’s office over his lifetime. Survivors include: children, Chris Mabry and Cayla Smith, grandchildren Derrick Smith, Summer Smith and Matthew Smith and great-granddaughter Sonia Smith; brothers Joe Mabry, Randy Mabry, Doyle Mabry, Terry Mabry and sister Belinda Rhodes.   He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Laverne Mabry and Jerry Mabry.  Any donations offered should go to Hospice of the South Plains, 4413 82nd Street, Ste. 135, Lubbock, TX 79424.
