Mr. Leobardo Torres Resident of New Home

Leobardo “Nuno” Torres Jr. passed into the arms of God and Jesus Christ on November 22, 2020. His family will celebrate his life of 51 years on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, at Grace Funeral and Cremation Care - Legacy Chapel in Lubbock, (3418 I-27), with visitation beginning on Friday, December 4th, 2020, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, at 10am at Grace Legacy Center, with interment to follow at Green Memorial Cemetery in Wilson, Texas. In support of the family's wishes, face covering will be required and social distancing is required while attending. Leobardo Torres is survived by his wife Martina Torres of New Home; son Leobardo Torres III; grandson Bentley; and brothers Luis Torres, Mariano Torres, and four beautiful sisters Sandra Tijerina;  Angela Rangel; Selena Gutierrez; and Rita Vasquez all of New Home; brothers; Alexander Torres and Samuel Torres. He is preceded in death by his daughter April Torres and father Leobardo Torres Sr. Leobardo was a life long resident of New Home where he met his life long partner and wife, Martina Torres. They raised two beautiful children Leobardo Torres III and April Torres. He was loved by many and enjoyed music, barbecues with family and served the Lord everyday of his life. He will be missed by his family and friends dearly. He retired from Farming a few years ago and worked with his son to establish Torres Fencing in New Home, and worked diligently until his passing.
