Mr. Leopoldo Portales of Meadow

Leopoldo H. Portales was born on April 28,1948 in Muzquiz, Coahuila Mexico to Ponciano and Emilia Portales. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and children on September 1, 2020 at his residence in Meadow, Texas. Leopoldo was married the love of his life Mrs. Maria Olga Portales. He enjoyed family time, sports, playing his bajo sexto and dancing. Leopoldo worked as a ranch hand and was known to be a hard worker and provider for his family.He is preceded in death by his parents; Ponciano and Emilia Portales and his son Andrew Portales. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his thirteen children, Marylou(Richard)Ratliff -San Benito,Tx Esperanza(Rudy)Martinez from Kirbyville, TX, Arnold Portales -Meadow, Tx, Martin(Tana)Portales -Spade, Tx, Griselda Portales -Lubbock, Tx, Gloria (Pedro) Morado -Tahoka, Tx Christina(Aurelio) Martinez -Okeechobee, Fl, Susie Portales -Meadow, Tx, Leopoldo(Juanita)Portales -Lubbock, Tx Rodolfo(Danielle)Portales -New Home, Tx Mandy(Derik)Washington -Lubbock, Tx Irma Portales -Meadow, Tx  and Abelino (Jasmine) Portales -Guymon, Ok. As well as 42 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. To include a host of other relatives and friends. He will be missed and forever remember by us all.
