Mr. Ronnie Powell of Brownfield

Ronnie Gale Powell 73, of Brownfield, Texas was born in Abilene, Texas to WC “Slim” Tolbert and Georgia Modean.  Ronnie joined the Army at the age of 19. He served 2 terms and fought in the Vietnam Army. Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, Jerry Powell and Sister, Kathy Anderson. His survivors include his loving wife Anita Powell of Brownfield, 3 daughters, Priscilla Hales -Brownfield, Corla Powell - Brownfield, Cristina Barnhart & Husband Daniel Barnhart of Brownfield. 3 sisters , Judy Whitt of Eastland Jan Hagler and husband John of Breckeridge and Kelly and David Adams of Breckinridge. 6 grandkids,  Harley Barnhart, Cayden Powell , Dillon Martinez , Teagan Tatum and Tyler Garcia . Several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and special niece, Melissa Hope. Ronnie enjoyed his grandkids and anything they were involved in. His life revolved around them. He enjoyed fishing and playing shuffle board with all his buddies at the VFW.  Ronnie was very well known for his craftsmanship, and an outstanding carpenter. He will truly be missed. The care of Ronnie has been entrusted to the professionals of Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Inc.
