Mr. Wilford "Junie" Leyendecker Jr. Resident of Lubbock

Wilford "Junie" Leyendecker Jr. 66, of Levelland TX, passed away on Wednesday, March 03, 2021.   The family will receive guests from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Grace Funeral Care - Legacy Chapel in Lubbock, TX. A remembrance service will follow beginning at 7pm.  Wilford was born in Bernard, TX, on September 3,1954, to parents Wilford Sr. and Patsy Ramirez Leyendecker. He grew up in a loving family with two brothers and one sister.  He graduated from Levelland High School.   He worked as a roofer in a family-owned business with his father and his brothers for several years. His hobbies were listening to his record player, doing word searches and watching movies. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders.   He was preceded in death by his parents; Wilford Leyendecker Sr, Patsy Ramirez Leyendecker and his brother, William” Willie” Leyendecker Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Sabrina Leyendecker (David Maldonado), Stephen Leyendecker (Mertha), Sean Leyendecker (Rita) and Stephanie Quinteros (Eusebio);   grandchildren; Julian Joe Sanchez (Amber), Desiree Sanchez, Samantha Leyendecker, Stephen M. Leyendecker, Jazzmine Quinteros, Jeremy Maldonado, De’Andra Paiz, Makayla Leyendecker, Elizabeth Leyendecker and Zayden Quinteros; great-grandchildren; Jacelynn Posadas, Addylena Sanchez and Bentlee Sanchez. He is also survived by a brother, Freddy Leyendecker of Levelland and a sister, Sandra (Victor) Leyendecker Reyes of New Braunfels.
