Mrs. Vivian Perkins Formerly of Brownfield

Vivian Latrell Perkins was destined to the guardians of Doris Nix and WL Smith. In her early teens, Vivian joined New Hope Baptist Church in Brownfield, TX. Vivian was additionally an alum from Brownfield High School. Vivian met the love of her life, Charles Perkins and they became one on April 19, 1976 and had two children, Tameka and Travon. Vivian had a colossal of enthusiasm for aiding individuals, as she done as such for a long time as a representative for the Lubbock State School. In 1999 Vivian and her better half (Charles), moved to Houston, TX to be closer to their daughter, Tameka. Vivian is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Nix. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband; Charles Perkins, daughter; Tameka Perkins and son; Travon Perkins and her father; W.L. Smith. Vivian leaves also to cherish her memory; 5 excellent grandchildren; Italy Bossett, Travon Jr., Chandler Perkins, Brooklyn Jennings, and William Jennings.  She will be missed by us all and a host of other relatives and friends.  A public viewing will be held on from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday February 18, 2021 at Grace Funeral Care located at 1211 Lubbock Road in Brownfield. A celebration of her life will take place the following day Friday February 19, 2021 at 12 noon at the same location. She will be laid to rest in the historic Mt. Zion Cemetery located in Brownfield.  Service entrusted to the professional of Grace Funeral Care Inc.

To the Perkins family. I am sending my love and condolences you guys. My dearest friend will truly be missed. A woman that I met over 20years ago and loved her dearly. Vivian I don't worry about you anymore. You are in the arms of our Heavenly Father. I will truly miss your pop-ups and our great conversations. Rest easy now my dear friend and we will see each other again...
