Ms. Manuela Moreno Formerly of Brownfield

Funeral services for Manuela Moreno will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, at Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Brownfield, TX, with Pastor Jimmy Vela officiating. Visitation, prayer and music ministry will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 5pm to 8pm at Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Brownfield, officiated by Daniel Loera. Manuela passed away to be with the Lord on March 12, 2021. She was born on March 10, 1937, in Aspermont, TX, to Jesse Sr. and Manuela Rodriguez. Manuela was married to Lorenzo Moreno Sr. for 15 years; she spent her days a housewife. Manuela was very funny at home and would tell her kids, “Look I still got it, this is how you dance”, and they named her the “Dancing Queen”. Manuela is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Sr. and Manuela; sisters; Maria Salas, Alice Reyes, and Anita Talamantez, brothers; Jesse,Tony, Gilbert, and Pete Rodriguez. Manuela is survived by her daughter Norma Moreno from Lubbock TX, Lorenzo Moreno Jr., Mario Moreno and wife Stacy, Larry Moreno and wife Elva, Randy and Michael James Moreno, all of Lubbock; daughter Lora and husband Joe Dillard from Brownfield TX, eight grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild; sisters, Josie Sansing and Tomas Longoria from Brownfield TX.
