Doxie Lenore Jackson Resident of Brewster

Doxie Lenore Jackson left us on October 18, 2021. She was born in Harlingen on Jan 7, 1930. Doxie graduated from Falfurrias High School. She got her Masters from SW TX State and taught for many years in Dallas. She became a chiropractor and ran a practice in Corpus Christi. Doxie was an active member of the National Qigong Association and traveled to China often to further her study. Doxie was a lifelong member of the Unitarian Universalist Church. She enjoyed her final years among the mountains of far west Texas. Doxie's positive spirit impressed everyone she met. She lived joyfully, without resentment and regret, teaching, healing, and caring for others. She was full of life and always looked for the best in everyone. Doxie will be missed by her last husband, her two sons and step son, and her two grand daughters. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a favorite charity.
