John Earl Clayman, 87
  John Earl Clayman of Brownfield, TX, was born to the union of Mary Lou M. (Peters) and George W. Clayman on April 14, 1935, in New Pairs, OH and passed from this life on August 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
   John worked for National Life & Accident Insurance Company and American General Life Insurance and retired from the Insurance Business in 1994. His career led him to meet his loving wife, Celsa, in 1980 while he was collecting a payment from her mother. He said he knew the moment he saw Celsa that she would be his wife. They were married on March 5, 1982. John was a loving, devoted father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was also a strong believer in the Christian Faith. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching and cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was an avid collector of trains, cars, and anything Route 66. You could always find John watching a game or race on the T.V. or dancing to some old-time country or bluegrass music with his sweetheart.
   John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Celsa, of Brownfield, Tx; 4 sons: Randy Clayman (Steph) Greenfield, IN; Terry Clayman (Beth) of Muncie, IN, Todd Clayman (Jody) of North Carolina; and Andrew Clayman of Brownfield, Tx; 3 daughters: Beverly Edwards (Joe) of Franklin, Oh; Dawn Lowe (Chris) of Marion, In; and Pam Salinas (Jose (Pete)) of Brownfield, Tx; 2 bonus daughters: Rhonda Fowler of Brownfield, Tx; and Tina Phillips (Conway) of Fort Worth, Tx; 1 sister: Lucille (Clayman) Pease of Englewood, Oh; brother in law Roy Altamirano (Elsa) of Brownfield, Tx; sister in law Emogene Taylor of Eaton, OH, sister in law Maria (Chavela) Davila (Santos) of Brownfield, Tx; 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
   John is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Raymond Clayman, James (Jack) Clayman, Robert (Bob) Clayman, Chester (Pete) Taylor; sisters: Flora (Herman) Hofacker and Rosie Clayman.
   Pallbearers are Andrew Clayman, Anthony Salinas, Brian Holland, Travis Holland, Jamie Holland, Jose Salinas, Roy Altamirano Jr., Tyler Tarver, Isidro Castilleja Zeb Clayman
   Honorary pallbearers are Terry Clayman, Todd Clayman, Randy Clayman, Aidan Salinas, Tyler Lowe
