Little Miss Kodi Ry'Ann Holt Resident of Lubbock

Little Miss Kodi Ry’Ann Holt 7 years old passed away Monday November 29, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday December 7, 2021, 6 – 8 p.m. at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church located at 5505 Wayne Ave Lubbock, Texas 79414. A Celebration of Life service will be held next day December 8, 2021, 11 a.m. at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Sutton, officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Slaton Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas. Kodi a little lady in her own right was born to her parents; Kindle and Ashley Holt on August 4, 2014, in Lubbock, Texas. She attended grade school at Ropes ISD and recently a homeschooled student at Great Hearts Academy online. Kodi was a lover of much and enjoyed being expressive for anything “jungle”, especially tigers, lions, and monkeys. Her favorite color was orange and black. She enjoyed “Dress Up” and makeup. Though a little southern belle, she had a competitive side often playing basketball and soccer. She loved spending time with her cousins and sister. She is preceded in death by her big sister; Kacee Brooke, grandfather; Dickie Bain, great grandfathers; Lloyd Holt and Roy Ostrander, and great great grandmother; Elnora Mitchell. Kodi leaves to cherish her precious memory, her parents; Kindle and Ashley Holt, sister; Kinley Holt, grandparents; Pat and Shonda Holt, aunt; Kielle Smith and husband Chris, cousins; Rylie, Peyton, Derek, Ian, and Juwel, great grandmothers; Frances Holt, and Fonda Ostrander and a host of numerous cousins, other family, and friends.
