Ms. Martina Y. Zepeda Resident of Lubbock

Martina Zepeda passed away on February 6, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 87. A visitation will be held Thursday February 16, 2023 1-8 p.m. at the Chapel of Grace Funeral Care located at 6604 Interstate 27. A celebration of life service will begin at 6 p.m. with her sister Mary L. Garcia officiating.

She was born to Juan and Guadalupe Ybarra in Thorndale, Texas on November 12,1935. Martha was a homemaker. Martina had 9 children, 5 boys and 4 girls. Martha loved watching football and her favorite teams were, the GreenBay Packers because she loved to see Aaron Rodgers.

Martha also cheered for the Cowboys. Her favorite college football teams were Texas Tech and the Oregon Ducks. Martina loved to play Lottery and card games. She was always ready to win.

Martina was preceded by her husband Roberto Zepeda and her two sons, Richard Garcia and Jesse Garcia. Martina is survived by her seven children, son-in laws and daughter-in laws and lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
