Mr. Alejandro R. Hernandez Resident of Lubbock

On March 18, 2023 Alejandro R. Hernandez, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle passed away peacefully at the age of 70 years old. Alejandro was born on June 29,1952 to Santiago Hernandez Sr. and Nicolasa R. Hernandez in San Marcos, Texas.  A visitation will be held Thursday March 23, 2023 5-8 p.m. with a celebration of life service starting at 6 p.m. Service will be conducted by the family. Cremation to follow.

Our father is preceded in death by his parents, beloved son Alejandro T. Hernandez, his brothers Santiago Hernandez, Max Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez and his beautiful sister Janie H. Garcia. He is survived by his brother Eustacio Hernandez, Pete Hernandez and his loving sister Conception Ybarr.    

 In his early years, Alejandro was married to Suzanne Madrid who preceded him in death. They had four daughters Kathie Mayes, Melinda Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez and Michelle Velasquez. He had a loving relationship with his son-in laws Philemon Mayes, Joseph Velasquez  and Lindel Wilson. He loved his grandchildren Lisa-Marie, Victoria, Marcus, Joseph Jr., Sarah, Suzanne and Jordyn. Grandson-in laws Greg and Jose. He enjoyed being a Great Grandpa to Natalie, Lily, Gregory and Zachary.

Alejandro is also preceded in death by his beloved second wife Elenore Hernandez.        

 Alejandro is also preceded in death by his loving wife Robin T. Hernandez. Alejandro and Robin had three sons, Alejandro Hernandez, Adam Hernandez and Anthony Hernandez. He had a loving relationship with daughter in laws Stephanie Ross and Genesis Campbell. He loved his Grandchildren Mya, Erabella, Za’niaylah, Alejandro Jordan, Abel, Avianna, Jadyn and Ghaia.

Alejandro worked hard throughout his life. He leaves a long legacy, Alejandro loved and enjoyed being a dad and grandpa. He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. The love he had for all his family was immeasurable! We will miss you, but we are comforted knowing you are at peace.
