Mr. David J. Cochrane Resident of Lubbock

Mr. David James Cochrane died unexpectedly in Lubbock, TX at the age of 19. A visitation will be held Wednesday July 12, 2023 5-7 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care Inc. A celebration of life service will take place the following day Thursday July 13, 2023 10 a.m. with Pastor Eddie Sutton officiating. Services on Thursday will be streamed live via Grace Funeral Care West Texas facebook page beginning at 10 a.m.

David is survived by his parents Keith and Joyce Cochrane of Lubbock; siblings Brandon, Alexander, and Serenity of Lubbock; and siblings Mikayla, Andrew, and Tori who reside in New York State. David was born on November 30 th , 2003 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

He graduated from Coronado High School in 2020. He attended South Plains College in 2022. He was passionate about helping others and was planning to go back and earn a degree where he could become a social worker or work in the criminal justice field. David held various jobs and most recently worked for Market Street in their food preparation department. David was very health conscious and was an avid jogger who frequented the gym often. He was a compassionate animal lover and worked with several animals while attending a private school; he loved the families beagles and recently got a first pet of his own, a kitten named Gizmo.

David also loved to fish, play sports, ride his motorcycle, enjoy outdoor activities, and spend time with friends and family.
