Mr. James Dale Belding Sr. died October 7, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas due to complications following pneumonia at 70 years of age. 

A memorial will take place on October 13th 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lubbock Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lubbock Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Belding’s life. 

Mr. Belding was born September 24, 1952 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Garland and Opal Belding. He graduated High School 1972 from Jefferson SDA Boarding Academy in Jefferson, Texas. He attended South Western Adventist College in Keene, Texas where he met his first wife Judy Muse/Short. They married on May 6, 1973and moved to Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Belding married his second wife Gabriella Pamas January 10, 1999. Mr. Belding was a jack of all trades working various jobs, ending as a truck driver on the open road. His last few years were spent cooking, reading, and enjoying his grandchildren and his beloved dog Bishop.

Mr. Belding is survived by his former wife Judy Short of Lubbock, Texas; 3 biological children, Daughter, Kimberly Belding of Lubbock, Texas; Sons, James Belding Jr. of Dallas, Texas; David/Leticia Belding of Lubbock, Texas; Former wife, Gabriella Pamas of Lubbock, Texas; 4 step children, Dulce/Robert Smith of Lubbock, Texas; Belem/Derick Patton of Lubbock, Texas; Mitzy/Jessie Mesa of Lubbock, Texas; Louis Pamas of Lubbock, Texas; 1 sister, Mary/Danny Huddleston of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Many Nieces and Nephews; and 15 beloved grandchildren.

Mr. Belding was preceded in death by parents Garland/Opal Belding of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 3 half-brothers, Billy Belding, Donald Bilbrey; and Buddy Belding of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
