Mr. Lee Allen Johnson Resident of Lubbock

Lee Allen Johnson “Brother” suddenly took his final flight to be with his Lord and Savior on April 20, 2023, at the age of 87. A memorial celebrating his life will be held Saturday May 6, 2023 11 a.m.  at Bethany Baptist Church located at 4402 40th Street in Lubbock.  His battle with his medical issue showed courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Lee Alle came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Lee Allen was born in Marlin Texas. He lived 40 good years of his life out in California. While he lived in California Lee Allen Johnson did two wonderful things. He Trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior and he owned his own furniture business where he made a living.

Lee Allen Johnson was born on October 10, 1936, in Marlin, Texas to Nathan(father) and Rachel(mother) Stokes Johnson. Later after moving to Lubbock, Texas he met his beautiful bride Dimple and joined in marriage. In this union they had their one and only son Daryl Johnson who they loved and cherished.

Lee Allen Johnson is proceeded in death by his mother (Rachel Johnson), his father (Nathan Johnson). Two sisters, Louise Bauchum of Waco, Texas and Joyce Johnson of Lubbock, Texas. Two brothers Robert Johnson of Lubbock, Texas, and Nathan Johnson Jr of California. His only son Daryl Johnson of Denver Colorado.

Lee Allen Johnson leaves to cherish his memories with one brother James Perry Johnson of Lubbock, Texas. Two sisters, Myrtle Johnson of Lubbock, Texas, and Ruby Jean Johnson of Dallas, Texas. Let’s not forget that he has a big host of loving and beautiful and handsome nieces and nephews and one very special niece.
