Mr. Lorenzo Moreno Jr. Resident of Lubbock

Lorenzo Moreno Jr., 63, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2021 surrounded by his family. A family gathering will take place 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday January 20, 2022 at Grace Funeral Care- Brownfield Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Brownfield Cemetery near his beloved family. He was born on September 3, 1958 in Brownfield, TX. He worked at Texas Tech University for 32 years. Lorenzo was a very friendly person. Wherever he went, he had to stop and meet new friends. He was a beloved uncle who loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He will be missed by many family and friends. He is preceded in death by Steve Reese and his mother, Manuela Moreno, and his father, Lorenzo Moreno. Lorenzo is survived by his siblings Norma and special nephew Michael Moreno, Mario Moreno, Larry Moreno, and Randy Moreno all from Lubbock, TX and his sister and brother-in-law, Lora and Joe Dillard from Brownfield, TX. Along with several nieces and nephews.
