Mr. Martin G. Herrera III Formerly of Brownfield

Martin G. Herrera, 51, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his residence in Hickock, Kansas. A visitation will be held Thursday December 9, 2021 4 -8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care- Brownfield Chapel. A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. at in the Brownfield Cemetery. Martin was born to Martin C. Herrera and Lidia on May 6, 1970 in Brownfield, Texas. Martin was a very loving man. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He raised his children and helped with his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. He helped everyone out of love. Martin had a hobby raising Roosters. He is survived by two sons, Martin H. Herrera and wife Nancy, Bryan Herrera and wife Liz, two daughters, Robin Herrera, Lydia Herrera all of Ulysses, Kansas; three brothers, Paul Herrera and wife Linda, Amarillo, Texas, Israel Herrera and wife Irene, Brownfield, Texas, Edward Herrera and wife Becky, Lubbock, Texas; fours sisters, Angie Herrera, Brownfield, Texas, Irma O’Bryan and husband Stacy, Manter, Kansas, Laura Herrera, Phoenix, Arizona, Liz Gardea, Midland, Texas; seven grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Martin was preceded in death by his parents; Martin and Lidia.
