Mr. Simon P. Rodriguez Resident of Lubbock

Mr. Simon "Bubba" Rodriguez Jr, 66, of Texas, passed away unexpectedly November 27, 2022, at his Lubbock home. A service is scheduled for Thursday December 15, 2022, from 6-8pm at Grace Funeral Home, 6604 I-27, Lubbock Texas 79404. All are welcome to attend and Celebrate Bubba's life. Flowers and donations may be sent to the funeral home.

 

Bubba was born April 21, 1956, in Lubbock Texas to Reverend Simon Rodriguez and Carmen Rodriguez. He graduated from Ector High School in Odessa Texas in 1977. Bubba worked many years at the Department Store Anthony's and received several awards for Employee of the month. Bubba put all of his effort into his work which was one of his many accomplishments. Bubba was always sharply dressed in his western attire which is something he will always be remembered for. 

 

In 1998, Bubba retired and spent his spare time bowling and watching sports with his friends which were his favorite hobbies. 

 

Bubba is survived by his brother's Paul, Sam, Mike and Abe as well as his sister's Annie, Becky, Rachel, Liz, Adel Essie, Ruth, Connie, Pearl and Sharon. He is preceded in death by his father Reverend Simon Rodriguez, his mother Carmen Rodriguez and his sister Lydia Andrews all of Lubbock Texas.
