Mr. Guadalupe Guerra Resident of Brownfield

Guadalupe Canales Guerra, 85, of Brownfield, TX, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021, in Lubbock, TX. The Guerra family will receive guests from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Brownfield, TX. A celebration of his life will follow at 7pm, with Cruz Cervantez officiating. Guadalupe was born on October 31, 1935, to Antonio and Epifania Guerra in Taft, TX. He later married the love of his life, Louisa. He was the eldest of four brothers. Guadalupe was a well known musician, bass singer and graced many stages and entertained many crowds throughout his years. He also played the bass guitar and Bajo Sexto.  Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sons and three grandsons. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Louisa, two sons; Albert Guerra and wife Rachel, Danny Guerra and wife Stephanie, two daughters; Anita Cuellar and husband Hector, and Rita Guerra-Cruz and husband Domingo. He also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
