Mr. Martin Valdez Of Lubbock

Mr. Martin O. Valdez was born in Mathis,Texas to Adolfo and Julia Valdez on Janurary 30, 1945. Mr. Valdez a resident of Lubbock passed away on March 29, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Mr. Valdez leaves to cherish his memories his children Tony, Jeanne, and Judy, grandsons, Theodore, Michael, and Michelangelo. He also leaves to cherish his memories 5 sisters and 2 brothers and a host of other relatives and friends. Martin was a ventriloquist and his puppets names were "It" and "Nono".  He loved going to schools providing free Christmas shows, snacks, and candy to the elementary school children. He also enjoyed singing Elvis songs and was apart of a small music band when he was younger. The group was known for  recreating Elvis songs and even had a few "gigs".  His favorite song that he played often was "Your Nothing But A Hound Dog" and "I want To be Your Teddy Bear" by Elvis. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the professionals of Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Inc.
