Mr. Paul Martin Resident of Lubbock

Chad Martin, age 52, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Services are pending. Chad was born on June 6, 1968 to Pauline and Richard Martin. Chad was raised in Chaparral Park outside of Macheca, TX. He attended Buda Elementary and graduated from Hays High School in 1986. Chad went on to join the United States Army. Afterwards, he earned his degree in Mortuary Science at the Institute of Funeral Services in 1990. Chad loved to bring joy to everyone. He enjoyed performing in plays, movies and through his work in the TGRA. Chad has a brick that is dedicated to him from his fundraising performances for the St. Christopher House in Austin, TX. He was such a Texas boy through and through that he had to have a tattoo of the Texas flag on his upper right arm. Chad is preceded in death by his father, Richard Martin, and his nephew, Jacolby Martin. Survivors include: his mother, Pauline Daniel, two brothers; Bubba (Barbara) Martin and Kelly (Belinda) Martin, his sister; Mindy Michelle (Christian) Clark, his nieces/nephews; Tawny Chad (Abed) Monawar, Will Martin, Laci (Scotty) Teems, Madison (Kendal) Clark, Mandi (Carter) Bell, Jack (Catherine) Martin, Trey Martin and Bridgette Martin, and his great nieces/nephews. Chad considered all of his friends an extension of his family as well. In lieu of sending flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Christopher House in Austin, TX in Chad Martin’s name. “Just be happy and love people” – Chad Martin
