Mr. Rosendo Mendoza Resident of Lorenzo

Rosendo L. Mendoza, 56, of Lorenzo, TX, passed away on December 9, 2020 in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with Deacon Joe Castillo, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday December 18, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at First Baptist. Rosendo will be laid to rest in the Lorenzo Cemetery. Funeral services will be live streamed from the Grace Funeral and Cremation Care Facebook page for those who cannot attend. Rosendo was born a twin in Lorenzo, TX, to Manuel and Dominga Mendoza on September 4, 1964. He worked faithfully alongside his twin brother Rogelio in the oilfield industry as a Welder with Andrews Safety Anchors, Inc.  Rosendo had a love for roosters and was great at “rooster fighting”. Rosendo was also a Dallas Cowboys fan. In his spare time, he could be found with his roosters, spending time with his family, wife, and children. He was known to never miss a day at work along with his brother, Rogelio. He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Mendoza. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Virginia Mendoza, daughters; Karina Ramos, and Jessica Cuevas, sons; Rolando Cuevas, Christopher Mendoza, and Rosendo Mendoza Jr, sisters; Ester Rojas, Sandy Mendoza, brothers; Rudy Mendoza, Manuel Mendoza Jr, and Reuben Mendoza, mother; Dominga Mendoza, 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
