Mrs. Margarita Garcia Resident of Lubbock

Mrs. Margarita Ramirez Garcia, 58, of Lubbock Texas, passed away on Sunday April 2, 2023. Viewing will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. April 15, 2023 A Celebration of life service will began at 2:00 Grace Funeral Care of West Texas located at 6604 Interstate 27 in Lubbock.

Margarita was born on March 28, 1965, to Gonzalo and Rosa Ramirez in Abernathy, Texas. She met the love of her life, Ricardo Garcia, on April 26, 1980 and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage before her passing.

Margarita was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She worked as a CNA most of her life. She loved life and had a lot of hobbies and interests. She had a passion for making custom jewelry and loved cooking and baking. She also loved football, and her favorite teams were Texas Tech and Washington Redskins. Anyone who knew Margarita would describe her as having a big heart.

Margarita will be missed by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her son Adrian Jovan Garcia: her parents, Gonzalo and Rosa Ramirez, and her two sisters, Felisha Castro and Victoria Ramirez.

Those left to cherish Margarita's memory are her husband, Ricardo Garcia; her children, Joann Garcia, April Garcia, Vanessa Garcia, Roxanne Garcia, Ashley Garcia, and Salina Garcia; siblings, Mary Parades, Johnny Ramirez, Jimmy Ramirez, Dennis Ramirez, Celia Cardenas, Cindy Castro, Ricky Ramirez. Renae Ramirez and Rachel Ramirez.

Margarita also had ten grandchildren and Margarita also had one great-grandson, as well as many extended family and friends.
