Mrs. Nora Romero Resident of Lubbock

Nora Gonzales Romero 54, of Lubbock entered Heaven's Gates on July 18, 2022.  A visitation will be held Wednesday July 27, 2022 4-8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care 6604 I-27. A service celebrating her life will be Thursday July 28, 2022 10 a.m. at Christan Family Center located at 1302 54th Street. Burial in the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Cemetery.  She was welcomed to the world on September 3, 1968, to Julie Cantu Navarro and Joe Navarro Jr in Lubbock Tx. She grew up in Petersburg Tx.

Nora married Daniel B. Romero Sr. the lover of her life on June 24th, 2017.

She became a mother and grandmother at the time of their marriage. Nora was a god-fearing woman who loved to sing and dance in all honor, glory to her lord. Nora never met a stranger that she didn't pray for. Serving the lord was what she loved doing and feeding the homeless any chance Nora and her husband had. Family wash everything to Nora, she will be remembered for the huge smile, laughter and love she gave to family. Nora loved her father more than anything. She took care of her father. their jokes to each other, their calls, and endless sleepovers will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother Julie Cantu Navarro and niece Heather. Those left to cherish all memories of Nora are her father Joe Navarro Jr, her mother-in-law Janie Romero her loving husband Daniel Romero Sr. of Lubbock.  Two daughters: Brittany (Ricky) Campbell and Makayla Romero both of Lubbock. One son: Daniel B. Romero Jr of Lubbock. Three Grandbabies: Aithen Campbell, Zhaiden Campbell, and Zy'Hana Campbell. Three Sisters: Rosa (Jon) Diaz, Kari (David) Garner, Samantha Mitchell. One brother: Daniel (Bonny) Gonzales

Nephews & Nieces: Erich Diaz, Shaeli Diaz, Allison Whitehead, Phillip Whitehead, Zachary Garcia, Sean Morales, Cheyenne, Joseph, Elijah Garner, Julie McCartney, Makayla Garcia, Mark Garcia, and Riley Gonzales.
