Mrs. Daisy (First Lady) Lindsey Resident of Logan, NM

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, and Friend Daisy Marie Lindsey on August 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her Daughter Keri Lynn Inman, her parents Joe and Hazel Healy, her brother Henry Healy, and her sister Virgie Mcgee. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Merle Lindsey of Logan NM, her son Ken Lindsey and wife Noreen of Lubbock Texas, Brothers Bill Healy of Roswell NM, James and Wife Joan Healy of Genoa Ohio, and Richard and Bonnie Healy of Arlington Texas, 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Daisy was born on July 7, 1942 to the late Joe and Hazel Healy in Clarksville, Texas. She married Merle Lindsey on February 4, 1961 in San Jon, NM. Daisy and her husband Merle were Assembly of God Pastors in New Mexico and Texas. She had a servant's heart and she was a mighty prayer warrior. Before, they retired to Logan NM in 2015 they were pastors of Mountain View Assembly of God in Alamogordo NM for 32 years.  Becoming a mother and grandmother was the highlight of her life. She made every moment with them special. Daisy was the matriarch of her family. She loved to entertain and could always be found in the kitchen. She loved board games and Yahtzee. She was happiest when her house was full of family and friends. She always made a point to reach out to all her loved ones to check in on a regular basis. She was generous, kind, and a loving woman who always put every one’s needs and desires before her own. She left her mark on hearts of many and will be dearly missed.
