Mrs. Mary T. "Teddy" Long Resident of Brownfield

Mary Theodora Long ‘Teddy’, age 79, passed away in Brownfield, Texas, on Friday, November 13, 2020. She was born on December 28, 1941, in Miami, Arizona, to Isabel ‘Brownie’ (Fuller) and FV ‘Bud’ Brown.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing, gardening, the outdoors, attending church, writing letters, socializing and meeting new people.  Teddy never knew a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tim Brown, and her husband Buddy Long.  She is survived by 3 sisters, Frances Whetten; Bebe May; and Peg Kennedy and husband John Kennedy all of Arizona; 3 sons, Johnny Wingfield of Buckeye, Arizon; Eddie Wingfield of Goodyear, Arizon; and Asa Stafford of Sturgis, South Dakota; and 1 daughter, Katherine Marin and husband Pedro Marin of Brownfield, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Teddy was a God-fearing woman and loved to praise her Lord and Savior Jesus.  A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
