Ms. Aurelia M. Reyna Resident of Bovina

Aurelia M. Reyna, 86 of Bovina, TX, passed away on September 8, 2021 in Slaton, TX

Aurelia was born in Perez, TX on November 12, 1934 to Asencion and Maria Martinez. She was married to Gonzalo Reyna on April 28, 1960 in Tahoka, TX. Visitation with Rosary will be on Wednesday September 15, 2021 5-8 p.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Bovina, Texas. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held the following day Thursday September 16, 2021 10 a.m. with burial to follow in the Bovina Cemetery.

Gonzalo and Aurelia were wonderful parents to Gonzalo Jr., Diana, Rosemary and Jessie. They loved each other and their family with all their hearts. Aurelia enjoyed her morning coffee each day and taking care of her beautiful flowers and plants. When her husband was alive they both enjoyed the horse races every Sunday.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband Gonzalo Reyna, 6 sisters, 1 brother and her parents, Ascension and Maria Martinez. Those left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Gonzalo Jr. Reyna, Diana Martinez and husband Arturo, Rosemary Calderon and husband Antolino, and Jessie Reyna and wife Jackie. She also had 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
