Clara A. Conner 58, of Lubbock passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 10, 2021. Clara was born in Slaton, Texas to the late George Conner and Katherine Hammons on September 20, 1962. Clara a friendly woman who met no strangers, was the life of the party and often described as the loudest in the crowd. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and friends. Clara was a giver and would always encourage others to do the “Right Thing”. She ultimately wanted everyone to be happy. Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Johnathan Conner, Anthony McGraw, Terrance Conner, Tamorra Conner, Corey Conner, and Lester Williams. She also leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her siblings; Savoyne Osby, Rufus Conner, Marcus Conner, Phyliss Woods, and Tonya Mackey, 17 grandchildren, 1 Great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.


Clara is preceded in death by her Father George Conner and a host of other relatives.


A graveside service will be held Thursday August 19, 2021, 10 a.m. at Slaton Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas.
Funeral services are entrusted to the professionals of Grace Funeral Care.
