Desiree Danielle Anderson 27, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2021, after suffering from a pulmonary embolism. A public visitation will be held Wednesday January 12, 2022, 5-8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care- Lubbock Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will take place, next day Thursday January 13, 2021 11 a.m. at the same location. She will be laid to rest in the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Desiree was born on January 18, 1994, to Adela Montanez and Phil Anderson in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Brownfield High School and graduated from Richard Wilborn in 2012. Desiree started her first job at Burlington Coat Factory in 2016. She was the highlight of her job and was often praised by her managers. She was a friendly but quiet employee. She was genuinely loved by her co-workers. As this was her first and last job. Though young, she was the glue that kept the family together. She was the counselor for us all. She enjoyed drawing, reading, and listening to music. She also enjoyed playing FortNite with her nephew. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother; Adela Montanez, father; Phil Anderson, sister; Natasha Cruse, brothers; Dominique Anderson, Nathan Montanez, and Jayden Anderson, nephew; Xenian Jackson, nieces; Xerian Williams, Gia Montanez, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
