Ms. Edith E. Ostrander "Lady Black" Resident of Lubbock

Edith Elaine Ostrander gained her wings December 14, 2022 at the age of
75. She was born July 20, 1947.

Elaine is outlived by her son,
Kenneth Ostrander, and 2 daughters, Cherokee Manriquez and
Ganilla McKenzie, and daughter-in-law, Wendy Ostrander, 2
son-in-laws, Willie Manriquez and Ezekiel Farley. She had 11
grandchildren, Melissa/Shane (Spouse), Kristin,
Conner/Meghan (spouse), Cordell, Duncan/Mercedes (Spouse),
Chris, Kendra/Guillermo (Spouse), Joey, Chevelle/Tabor
(Spouse), Siantha, Ashlyn/Nathaniel (Spouse). She had 4 great
grandchildren, Karli, Aspin, Harper, Macie.

Elaine worked for
the Lubbock Sheriff Department in the 80’s then became a
truck driver where she gained her nickname, “Lady Black.”


She then retired and started working for Pizza Hut.

She loved
to tell her stories about driving a truck, the places she traveled
to, the things she saw. Most importantly, she loved her family
deeply, her friends closely, and the love for her customers at
Pizza Hut was made known.

Elaine will be forever missed. There will be a private memorial
service for her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the family.
