Pastor Antonio Placencia Jr. Resident of Lubbock

Antonio Placencia Jr. 59, resident of Lubbock passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday December 13, 2021. A visitation will be held on Monday December 20, 2021, 5-8 p.m. at Emmanuel Worship Center located at 1102 70th Street in Lubbock. A celebration of his life will commence Tuesday December 21, 2021, 11 a.m. at the same location with Pastor Vicente Villalon Jr., officiating. He will be laid to rest in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Antonio was born April 26, 1962, in Uvalde, Texas to Antonio Placencia Sr. and Theodora Diaz – Placencia. Antonio was a man of Faith and lived his life serving God and his people. A Pastor for 20 plus years, he served as senior leader of The Redeemer Assembly of God in Lubbock. He not only pastored but he was a teacher for 5 years at the Canaan Night Bible Institute where he was also a graduate. Antonio married the love of his life Rebecca and to this union were born 3 children: Stephanie, Isacc, and Leah. Antonio was employed with the City of Lubbock Water Treatment as a technician for 29 plus years. A man of many talents, he founded Multi-Vision Screen Printing, providing quality T-Shirt graphics of all kinds. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years; Rebecca Placencia, brothers, Manuel Placencia Sr. (Angie), Albert Placencia (Martha), sister; Nora Pena (Oscar), his children; Stephanie Placencia (Samuel), Isacc Placencia (Amy), and Leah Alvarez (Angel). He also leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; Theodora Placencia, 7 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father; Antonio Placencia Sr. and a host of other relatives.

Arrangements are entrusted to the professionals of Grace Funeral Care Inc.
